The World Police and Fire Games remind us that competition is bigger than medals. It’s about unity, service, resilience, and respect among those who dedicate their lives to protecting others. No matter the country, language, or uniform, we stand together through sport—pushing one another to be stronger athletes, better leaders, and better people. The friendships and camaraderie built here last far beyond the finish line.
From Chicago high school standout to internationally respected competitor representing the United States and Louisville, Kentucky, this athlete brings decades of elite-level performance, coaching leadership, and public service distinction to the world stage.

Following his collegiate career, he transitioned into coaching, beginning as an assistant coach at duPont Manual High School for two years before expanding into multiple respected coaching roles across Kentucky athletics.
In 1999, he began a career in law enforcement as a police officer. Shortly after entering the profession, a mentor encouraged him to compete in the World Police and Fire Games — one of the largest international sporting events in the world, often rivaling the Summer Olympics in participation and global representation.
Since his first appearance in 2001, he has competed in all but two World Police & Fire Games, consistently ranking among the top competitors internationally in the long jump and triple jump divisions.
His longevity, consistency, and competitiveness over multiple decades demonstrate not only elite athletic ability, but extraordinary discipline, resilience, and dedication to sport.
